Obituary

Richard Scott “Dick” Carver, 73, of Reedsville, WV died on Wednesday January 26, 2022 at his home.

Born on December 07, 1948 in Beaver, PA, Dick was the son of the late Hazel H. and David M. Carver, Jr.

Dick was a 1967 graduate of Beaver Area Senior High School and honorably served his country in the United States Navy. He had previously lived in Maryland and, before relocating to Reedsville, in Denver, Colorado, where he worked as a mechanic on the
Winter Park Express – a ski train which travels from Union Station in downtown Denver to the slopes of the Winter Park Resort - a trade of which Dick was most proud. He was Presbyterian by faith.

Dick is survived by his special friend and companion of more than forty years, Deborah Cummings, of Reedsville.

Private services are under the direction of the Morgan Funeral Home in Reedsville and entombment took place in the Beaver Cemetery & Mausoleum.

Memorial donations may be directed to the Preston County Animal Shelter, 278 Poor Farm Road, Kingwood, WV  26537.
