Richard Lee Clark, 83, of Masontown, WV, passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at his home. He was born on February 9, 1942, a son of the late Glen George Clark and Evelyn Mae (Roby) Clark.
Richard had worked as a truck driver for Austin Powder and as a manufacturer at Sterling Faucet. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, coin collecting and going to flea markets. No one was a stranger to Richard. He loved to talk to everyone and do some wheelin’ and dealin’. Richard will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Richard is survived by six children; Debbie Fortney (Charlie), Edward Clark (Tammy), Franklin Clark (Marlene Andrews), Steven Clark (Tammy), Brenda Clark, and Tracy Shaffer ( Mike Moats); ten grandchildren: Justin Clark, Brian Bash (Nakisha), Michelle Bash (Danny), Hope Clark (Jesse), Matthew Clark (Sara), Jessica MacQueen (Chris), Samantha Hays, Willis Clark, Mike Keener Jr., and Jeremy Andrews; twenty-two great grandchildren: Austin, Rocky, Bella, Carson, Reece, Marley, Alex, Elias, Ivy, Malea, Paige, Abby, Little Danny, Mason, Maverick, Sophie, Zoie, Carter, Maddox, Lincoln, Summer, Kasey; one great great grandchild on the way; and many nieces and nephews.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Iretta Lou (Lambert) Clark; three brothers, Gary Clark, two brothers in infancy; and one sister, Patty Menear.
Friends and family will be received at Morgan Funeral Home, 13411 Veterans Memorial Hwy., Reedsville, from 3pm to 7pm, on Monday, October 27, 2025 and on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, from 12pm until the 2pm funeral hour, with Pastor Kelly Gamble officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
