Richard "Richie" Otis Davis

Richard Otis Davis, 81, of Arthurdale entered eternal rest on Friday, December 23, 2022 at J.W. Ruby Hospital in Morgantown surrounded by loving family.

He was born October 3, 1941 in Arthurdale, a son of the late Frank and Annabel Davis.

Richie was a loving father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He was a plumber and pipefitter for WVU; worked at WVU in the Athletic Department Press box; and on the event Staff for Basketball Games.  He volunteered for Arthurdale Heritage and was an avid hunter.

Richie is survived by his daughters and spouses; Kelly Collins and Allen of Morgantown and Amber Crimm and David of Flemington; four grandchildren, Clayton and Jacob Collins and Lillie and Lane Crimm; three brothers, Harry, Johnny and Davie and numerous nieces, nephews, loving friends and neighbors.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of fifty-eight years, Sandra “Suzie” (Bonnette) Davis on March 20, 2022;  also five brothers, and two sisters.

Family and friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home in Reedsville on Thursday, December 29, 2022 from 12 noon till 2 pm the funeral hour with Revered Steven E. Lightner officiating. Interment will follow at the Arthurdale Cemetery.
