Sharon Rae Anne Dennison of Clarksburg, passed peacefully February 9, 2013 at United Hospital Center in her 70th year. She was born June 12, 1942; daughter of Betty Anne Hurst Golden. In addition to her mother she is survived by three children, Michael B. Dennison, St. Louis, MO, Frank Lance Dennison and wife Ronda, Richmond, KY, Frankie Michelle Dennison, Clarksburg; six grandchildren, Brook Dennison, Matt Dennison, Hunter Dennison, Thorin A. Dennison, E.J. (Jamie) Richards, Jeffrey A. Dennison; two sisters, Peggy Campbell and husband James, Elizabeth Madison and husband Vic; four nieces and nephews, Melissa Campbell, Brian Madison, Stacey Cornhoff, and Rodney Madison; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Sharon was preceded in death by brother, Jon Kelley. Sharon was a member of the Women's Auxiliary of the VFW Post 573, Clarksburg American Legion and was a former member of the St. Mark's Luthern Church. Sharon was a devoted mother, friend and advisor. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. Sharon had a strong passion for reading, writing, playing Farmville on Facebook, playing the WV Lottery and spending as much time as possible in the great outdoors. She was known for her loving, gentle, and kind hearted nature. Visitation Tuesday, February 12, 2013 from 4:00-7:00 pm at Davis Funeral Home; service Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at 11:00am in the Davis Funeral Home Chapel. Interment in the Coplin Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Sharon's name to the Disabled American Veteran Fund and The Harrison County Humane Society.
