Sheila Ann Jenkins

Sheila Ann Jenkins, 52 of Tunnelton, passed away Monday, June 25, 2012 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born January 6, 1960 in Preston Memorial Hospital, daughter of Thomas Franklin and Patricia Ann Watkins Pratt. Sheila graduated in 1978 from Tunnelton High School and went to work at Kinney Shoe Factory. She worked as a CNA at Heartland of Preston County and Windy Hill. She loved crafts, flowers, gardening and genealogy. Sheila was a seamstress and made many quilts. She hosted "Camp Mudd" for children, enjoyed playing Santa Claus and participating in vacation bible school (VBS) at Denver United Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband, Burton Barrett Jenkins; one step-daughter, Penny Thomas and Tim, Scott Depot; one step-grandson, Jeffrey Thomas; one brother, David Allen Pratt and Donna, Tunnelton; one nephew, Thomas James Allen Pratt and Katie, Terra Alta; one niece, Misty Lynn Pratt Dean, Austin, TX; and several great nieces and nephews. Sheila was preceded in death by one brother, Larry Wayne Pratt. Family and friends will be received at the Bolyard Funeral Home, 79 Morgantown Ave. Newburg, Thursday, June 28, 2012 from 3-8 pm and Friday, June 29, 2012 from 9am until time of service at 1:00 pm with the Pastor Bob Uphold officiating.
