Stanley Keith Adkins

Stanley Keith Adkins, 74, of Reedsville, WV, passed away peacefully in Morgantown, WV, on Saturday, February 28, 2026. Stanley was born on September 26, 1951, in Bellepoint, WV, a son of the late Badie Bracken Adkins and Helen Virginia (Patrick) Adkins.

Stanley previously managed the hardware store in Reedsville and later worked at MonGeneral Hospital and Sterling Faucet. He also worked as the Supervisor of Security and Environmental Services at WVU Ruby Memorial Hospital, a job he loved and eventually retired from. He enjoyed riding horses, motorcycles, and attending the livestock sale. But most of all, Stanley treasured time spent with his family.

Stanley is survived by one daughter, Charlotte Adkins and her companion, Daniel Boylen; two brothers, Clinton Adkins (Judy) and Brent Adkins (Glenna); one sister, Kathy Murray; two grandchildren, Hope and Noah; three nieces, Sarah, Kelly, and Cheryl; and two nephews, Brent and Scott.

In addition to his parents, Stanley was preceded in death by one brother-in-law, Donald Murray; one nephew, Josh; and his former wife, Connie.

Friends will be received at Morgan Funeral Home, 13411 Veterans Memorial Hwy., Reedsville, WV, on Friday, March 6, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and again on Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 10:00 AM until the 11:00 AM funeral service hour, officiated by Reverend David Kisamore. Interment will follow at Morgan Memorial Park.
