Thelma L Myer

Thelma L Myer, 85 of Clarksburg went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, August 4, 2012 from Clarksburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on August 24, 1926 in Wainville, Webster County, daughter of the late Alva and Erma Stalnaker Hickman. Thelma retired with 27 years of service from Anchor Hocking as a selector and packer. She is survived by her daughter, Debby Gough and husband Charlie, Clarksburg, several nieces, nephews and cousins who she deeply loved. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Samuel Young in 1969, second husband, C. H. "Jack" Myer in 1977; one brother Robert J Hickman and his wife Blanche. She was a longtime member of Oak Mound Evangelical Church and faithfully read her Bible. Thelma enjoyed trying new restaurants and watching Nascar, Darrell Waltrip being her favorite. She would always help others in any way she could. Family and friends will be received at the Davis Funeral Home, One Olen Thomas Drive, Rt. 98, Clarksburg from 2-8pm on Monday where services will be held at 11:00am Tuesday, August 7, 2012 with the Reverend David Baker officiating.
