Wanda M Bucklew

Wanda M Bucklew, 87 of Independence, WV, went to be with the lord Monday, March 4, 2013 at Heartland of Preston County with family by her side. She was born February 21, 1926 in PA. Daughter of the late Harry and Martha Dailey Wigley. Wanda graduated from Masontown High School. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Gladesville Ebenezer Baptist Church. She loved going to church, gardening, crocheting, playing cards, bingo and cooking delicious meals. Surviving are two sons, Raymond Bucklew and Carolyn, Drexel, NC, Foster Bucklew and Judy, Independence; one daughter, Ruth Martin and David, Gladesville; nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; five sisters, Vivian Hadlow, Mississippi, Ruby Lawrence, GA, Virginia Lake, Gladesville, Francis Strahin, Arthurdale, Alice Bucklew, Morgantown; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, Foster O Bucklew in 1995, three brothers, one sister. Family and friends will be received at Bolyard Funeral Home, 79 Morgantown Ave. Newburg, WV, Thursday, March 7, 2013 from 2-8 pm, and Friday, March 8, 2013 from 9 am until the service at 11:00 am with Terry Hagedorn officiating.
