Betty L Brown

Betty Luegene (Herndon) Densmore- Brown 85, of Arthurdale and formerly of Grafton went home to be with Jesus on November 20th, 2017.
Betty was born April 15, 1932 in Denver near Tunnelton a daughter of the late William and Georgia (Ruckle) Herndon.  

Betty was a Deacon of the Community Presbyterian Church of Arthurdale and member of the Presbyterian Women.

Survivors include: stepdaughter, Sandra (Brown) Vanin and husband John of Morgantown; stepson, John David Brown and wife Gelina of Arthurdale; her siblings: Lee, John, and Virginia; grandchildren: Jennifer Brown Shepherd, Joshua Brown, Christopher Brown, Madison Brown, Andrea Vanin, and Marc Vanin; great-grandchildren: Parker, Mason, Benjamin, and Audra; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by:  first husband, Elam (Joe) Densmore; second husband John Ellison Brown; siblings: Ralph, Luella, Sue, Ruth, Rachel, Genevive, and Billy.

A special thank you to the Preston County Senior Citizens, Inc. and WV Caring's Hospice in Arthurdale for all of their care and support. Thank you to her caregivers: Sandra Wagner, Mary Shahan, Kimberly Harrison, Debra Rouzee, and Susan Lambert for your love and compassion.  

Friends may call at the Morgan Funeral Home in Reedsville on Friday November 24th, 2017 from 10:00 am -  1:00 pm the time of Funeral Services in the funeral home chapel. Graveside services will follow at the West Virginia National Cemetery in Grafton.
