I am truly sorry for your loss. I know this is a hard time for your family so I wanted to share a comforting scripture with you. At John 5:28,29, Jesus tells us about a time when those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out. This is a promise from God, by means of Jesus. We can look forward to this and more in the near future. Again, my heart goes out to your family.

I didn't know Mr. Miller in his later years, but I met him once back in the 1970s during the installation of the Albright Bank computer. One of our teachers brought a few elementary students to watch one of the testing phases — and it was the first time I had ever seen an actual computer. I still remember Mr. Miller's zeal, even when it came to punch card operation. Even in that half-hour, his life altered mine, and I still appreciate it.

The photo says so much to me -- conveying Bob's kindness, sweetness, quiet confidence and (even though she's not in the photo) his deep respect for and love of life and for the love of his life, Deb. I am grateful to have known him.

So sorry to hear of Bob's passing! I met Bob when I joined the Preston Federal CU in 1999, he never treated me like a stranger. I am so grateful I got to visit with him a little at the Credit Union's annual member dinner just this year. I had not seen him for, I'm sure, two years.
He knew his job well and treated his customers with respect and like they were family. My husband Marvin is a coal miner and he and Bob would always talk mining during our many trips into the credit union. We will miss him dearly. Heaven gained another angel yesterday! Prayers to all family and friends, he will be missed.
